THE AMINTA CHAMBER/
CONCERT ORCHESTRA

The Aminta Concert Orchestra is an enlarged version of the Aminta Chamber Orchestra and was founded in 1985, largely through the enterprise and vision of its conductor, Donald Hoskins.

The orchestra, now in its twenty-eighth season, consists of some of the most distinguished players in London's professional musical life, drawn together for the purpose of presenting orchestral concerts with soloists and choirs of international renown. Guest artists have included Victor Abramian, Jack Brymer, Anne Conoley, Clio Gould, Eiji Hashimoto, Dame Moura Lympany, Barry Tuckwell and Manuel Villet, whilst major choral concerts have been performed with the world famous London Philharmonic Choir.
